The sixth edition of this Approved Code of Practice and guidance provides practical advice to help dutyholders comply with the requirements of the COSHH Regulations - access the latest edition.
Following a three month consultation, the HSE have now published a revised approved code of practice. The ACOP and guidance give practical advice on how to comply with the requirements of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.
The HSE has overhauled its guidance for working at height, setting out in clear, simple terms what to do and what not to do and debunking common myths that can confuse and mislead employers. See government press release
The HSE has published research into incidences of inadvertent operation of controls (IOOC) of excavators, which it suggests is a significant issue and which it also suggests could lead to injury. The research considers how IOOC happens and how the problem might be tackled - read the research
